Surprises with a little Gingerbreadhouse......

Verrassingen met een Gemberbroodhuisje.......

Hello everybody,

Deze keer heb ik een projectje gemaakt met het gemberbroodhuisje van Magnolia. Het is toch weer iets geworden met een lichtje, maar ook met een bonbonzakje erin. Een dubbel cadeautje dus voor b.v. de kerst of met al die hartjes erop ook leuk voor Valentijnsdag of verjaardag.

This time I made a little project with the gingerbreadhouse from Magnolia. It again became something with a little light, but you can also put a little candybag in it. So it is a double surprise for example Christmas or with all those tiny hearts a nice present for Valentines-day or birthday.

Leuk te combineren met b.v. Tilda met haar pollepel uit de Magnolia collectie "A Yummy for your Tummy 2009".

Het gemberbroodhuisje is uit de collectie  "So jolly under the mistletoe 2009".

Ik heb het vier keer gestempeld en ingekleurd met Copics, uitgeknipt en op een strook wit karton geplakt, maar eerst alles gedistressed met Distress-inkt Vintage Photo van Ranger.

I stamped it four times and coloured it with Copics, cut out and put on a strip of paper, but first all distressed with Distress-ink Vintage Photo from Ranger.

Aan de bovenkant heb ik een rand gemaakt met een Martha Stewart pons.

At the top I made an edge with a Martha Stewart punch.

Hier zie je een simpel lichtje op de dvd (gerecycled).

Here you see a simple partylight on the dvd (recycled).

Ook Tilda is gekleurd met Copics en vastgezet met foamblokjes.

Also Tilda is coloured with Copics and attached with foamtape.

Hier zie je het huisje gevuld met lekkere bonbons.

Her you see the little house filled with chocolates.

Met een leuke label, tekst en een mooi lintje maak je het geheel mooi compleet.

With a label, text and a nice ribbon you complete the nice surprise.

De label is een Doohicky stansje van Magnolia en de tekst komt uit de collectie "So jolly under the mistletoe 2009".

The label is a Doohicky die from Magnolia and the text is from the collection "So jolly under the mistletoe 2009".

Degenen die het zakje met "the yummy for your tummy" snel leeg eten, kunnen het huisje dus direct weer leuk gebruiken met een waxinelichtje erin.

For those who eat "the yummy for your tummy" very soon, they immediately can use the little house with a partylight in it.

Zo wordt het dus een dubbele verrassing om weg te geven.

In this way it becomes a double surprise to give away..

Ik hoop jullie weer op een ideetje gebracht te hebben met deze leuke stempels.

Edwin is gekleurd met Copics en de randjes zijn gedistressed met Vintage Photo Distress-inkt van Ranger.

Voor het bont op de muts en jas van Edwin heb ik Liquid Appliqué gebruikt.

Edwin is coloured with Copics and the edges are distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink from Ranger.

For the fur on Edwins hat and coat I used Liquid Appliqué.

De mooie roos was een cadeautje van Magnolia.

The beautiful rose was a gift from Magnolia.

Voor dit tasje heb ik een mal gebruikt van Pergamano.

For this bag I used a mold of Pergamano.

Verder heb ik nog gebruikt: strass steentjes, rode knoopjes en wat zilver en rood lint.

I also used: rhinestones, red buttons and some silver and red ribbon.

In de zijkanten van het tasje zitten mooie inkepingen.

The sides of the bag have nice notches.

Ook heb ik er nog een paar zilverkleurige belletjes bijgehangen om het af te maken.

And I also added some silver bells to finish it all.

Het was weer erg leuk om dit tasje te maken.

Ik hoop dat jullie het weer leuk vinden.

Again it was fun to make this bag.

Happy Birthday gift-basket........

Hello everybody,

Deze keer laat ik jullie een cadeau-mandje zien. Je kunt er wat chocola, een stukje zeep, een sierraadje, een cadeaubon o.i.d. in doen.

This time I show you a gift basket. You can use it for some chocolate, a little soap, some jewelry, a gift certficate or something else.

Deze keer heb ik een Tilda uit de Magnolia collectie "Butterflies Dream 2011" gebruikt.

This time I used a Tilda from the Magnolia Collection "Butterflies Dream 2011".

Op de voor- en achterkant heb ik een vlinder gebruikt, die ik gestant heb met een Magnolia Doohicky.

For the front- and backside I made a butterfly with a Magnolia Doohicky die.

Er passen precies twee stukjes Merci chocolade in.

It holds exactly two pieces of Merci chocolates.

Het mandje is gemaakt met een mal van Marianne Design van jaren geleden. Na het aftekenen heb ik alles rondom uitgeknipt en daarna door Big Shot gehaald. Daarna nog delen met de hand uitgesneden.

The basket is made with a mold of Marianne Design of years ago. After marking all around I cut it out and embossed it with the Big Shot. The other parts I cut out by hand.

Vervolgens heb ik het borduurpatroon geprikt met een dunne Pergamano priknaald en geborduurd met licht en donker lila garen van Madeira. Ook op de achterkant van het borduurwerk even de gaatjes na het borduren weer een beetje dichtgedrukt met een opbolpen.

With a thin prick needle of Pergamano I pricked the pattern and embroidered all with yarn from Madeira in light and dark purple. Also after stitching I pushed the little holes, at the backside of the embroidery, back with a thick embossingtool.

Verder heb ik gebruikt:

Copics om alles in te kleuren.

Parels, Stickles, lint, grote bloem, een bedeltje met "Made with Love" en 3D Glossy Accent en dubbelzijdige tape om alles goed vast te plakken.

I also used:

Copics for colouring.

Pearls, Stickles, ribbon, big flower, a charm with "Made with Love" , 3D Glossy Accent and doublesided tape to stick all together.

Dit waren de mallen die jaren geleden uitgegeven zijn. Ik weet niet of ze nog te koop zijn. Maar er zijn vast wel mensen zoals ik, die ze nog ergens hebben liggen.

These molds are from years ago. I don't know if they are still for sale. But there are probably people like me who have them lying somewhere.

De vlinder heb ik alleen geëmbossed, maar niet uitgesneden. Ik heb er een Doohicky vlinder op geplakt.

The butterfly I only embossed, but I did not cut out. I used a Doohickey die from Magnolia.

Dit is het malletje van het tussendeel van het mandje. 

This is de mold of the intermediate portion of the basket.

Veel gepriegel, maar leuk om te maken.

Much precise work, but fun to make.

Ik hoop dat iedereen het weer leuk vindt en weer wat inspiratie opdoet.
