Tilda and her dog with birds in the snow..............

Hello everybody,

Deze keer heb ik een tentkaart gemaakt met een sneeuwtafereeltje.

This time I made a tentcard with a snow scene.

De achtergrond heb ik direct op binnenkant van de kaart gestempeld met de boom uit de Magnolia collectie "Jingle Jangle 2008" en Vivid inkt olive. Je hoeft de stempel maar één keer te beinkten. Als eerste stempel je de boom laag op de voorgrond in het midden, vervolgens een tweede en een derde keer iets naar achteren en over de eerste boom. Hierdoor lijkt het een beetje op de maskeertechniek en lijken de bomen wat verder achter de eerste te staan. Daarna heb ik Stickles op de bomen gebruikt.

The background I stamped directly on the paper with a tree from the Magnolia collection "Jingle Jangle 2008" and Vivid ink olive. You have to ink the stamp only one time. First you put a tree low in the front of the paper, the second and third time you stamp a little behind and over the first stamp, so it seems the trees are standing a little more at the backsite of the first stamp. It looks like the maskingtechnic. Then I put Stickles on it.

Met een Nestability heb ik de cirkel in het witte en scrappapier tegelijkertijd gestanst.

Het hek uit Magnolia's "Santa Collection 2008" heb ik uitgesneden en er veel Stickles opgedaan.

With a Nestability I made the circle in the white and scrappaper at the same time.

The fence from the Magnolia's "Santa Collection 2008" I cut out and I added much Stickles.

Tilda komt uit de collectie "So jolly under the mistletoe 2009".

Ik heb haar gekleurd met Copics.

Tilda is from the collection "So jolly under the mistletoe 2009".

I coloured her with Copics.

Hier kun je twee vogeltjes zien waarvoor ik er voor elk twee geponst heb en ingekleurd heb met Copics. Ze hangen aan goudkleurige draadjes van Madeira, zodat het lijkt alsof ze door de lucht "vliegen".

Here you see two birds I punched (for each one twice) and coloured them with Copics. They hang on a "golden" thread of  Madeira, so it looks like they "fly" through the sky.

Het is leuk om voor meer diepte en glinstering een lichtje in de kaart te zetten.

It's nice to put a little light in the card for more depth and glittering.

Tilda's hond komt uit de "Shabby Chic Summer Collection 2008".

Ze is ook ingekleurd met Copics en op haar neus en ogen heb ik wat 3D Glossy Accent van Ranger aangebracht.

Tilda's dog is from the "Shabby Chic Summer Collection 2008".

She's also coloured with Copics and on her nose and eyes I did some 3D Glossy Accent from Ranger.

De bloem en de dennetak zijn gestanst met creatables en vastgezet met een spacer en splitpennetje van Marianne Design.

The flower and branch of fir I made with creatables and a spacer with splitpin from Marianne Design .

De vogels zijn gemaakt met een Martha Stwewart pons, evenals de hulstranden boven- en achterop de kaart.

The birds are made with a Martha Stwart punch.

Also the border lace at the top and backside of the card.

Het scrappapier is van de Action en op de hoeken heb ik okerkleurige strass-steentjes gebruikt.

Verder heb ik alles behalve de bloem en de tak gedistressed met Distress inkt Vintage Photo van Ranger.

The scrappaper is from the Action.

At the corners I used ocher rhinestones.

I distressed all, except the flower and the branch with Distress-ink Vintage Photo from Ranger.

Freedom....... Joy......and Halloween.......

The owl is flying in freedom....... his home are the woods.

The cats are peeking to find something good.

The bats are free........ to go in the dark night.

Tilda has taken her broom and enjoys the ride.

The trees are losing their leaves........ they fall on the ground,

so the snails can crawl...... joyful around.

The moon smiles and shines clear….. to show us the way.......

De uil vliegt in vrijheid....... zijn thuis is het bos.
De katten gluren er lekker op los.
De vleermuizen gaan........in de donkere nacht,
waar Tilda met haar bezem vrolijk op hen wacht.
De bomen verliezen.......hun blad op de grond.....
de slakken zijn blij........kruipen er rond.
De maan schijnt helder.................en zie zijn lach.......
hij laat ons de weg zien............
ook..... op deze mooie Halloween-dag.

Sorry.....de vertaling is wel heel erg vrij....maar het moet ook een beetje klinken toch?
Ik kon het niet nalaten om dit op papier te zetten. Het zat steeds in mijn hoofd tijdens het maken van deze kaart.

I could not resist to write this on paper. It was still in my head during making this card.

Hier zie je ....al weer....een lichtje met de "angel-cat" van Tilda.

Ze komt uit de Magnolia Collection "Halloween & Autumn 2008".

So you see a little light (again) with the angel-cat of Tilda.

She is from the Magnolia Collection "Halloween & Autumn 2008".

Deze keer heb ik een tentkaart gemaakt met papier van Basic Grey----Eerie. Voor het kleuren heb ik weer Copics gebruikt.

This time I made a tent card with papers from Basic Grey---Eerie.

I used Copics for colouring everything.

Hier zie je de kat met een lichtje binnenin de kaart om alles vooral 's avonds een beetje "spooky" te maken. Het lichtje kun je gamakkelijk naar boven of naar onder schuiven.

Here you see the cat with the little light within the card to make all a little bit spooky especially at nights. The little light is easely to slide up or down.

terwijl ze naar het lichtje kijkt. Ik heb daar voor een Doohicky stans gebruikt van Magnolia.

Voor meer glittering heb ik Stickles gebruikt.

I put some Stickles on the light for more glittering.

Om het hekje vast te maken heb ik twee kleine splitpennetjes gebruikt van Tim Holtz. Deze kun je weer losmaken als je de kaart wilt versturen in een enveloppe.

For the the fence I used two little brads of Tim Holtz, which you can detach for sending in an envelope.

Hier is onze grappige Tilda op haar bezem. Ze komt uit de Magnolia Collectie "So Spooky 2009".

Here is our funny Tilda on her broom. She is from the Magnolia Collection "So Spooky 2009".

De glurende kat is ook gemaakt met een Doohicky stansje van Magnolia.

This peeking cat is also made with a Doohicky die from Magnolia.

De grappige fladderende en blozende vleermuis komt uit de Magnolia Collectie "Fall 2007".

This funny bat fluttering and blushing is from the Magnolia Collection "Fall 2007".

De uil hangt los aan een zilveren borduurdraadje, zodat het lijkt of de uil wegvliegt of juist naar je toekomt vliegen. Hij  hangt precies tussen de twee takken, zodat je er wat mee kunt spelen waar hij komt te hangen.

The owl is hanging on a silver embroidery thread, so it looks he's flying away or is just coming towards you. He hangs exact between the branches and you can play with it and see where he must hang.

De boomstronk en de slakjes zijn uit de Magnolia Collectie "Martha & William 2008". Voor de slakkenhuisjes, oogjes van de vleermuis en de uil heb ik 3D Glossy Accent van Ranger gebruikt.

The stump and snails are from Magnolia Collection "Martha & William 2008".

For the snailshells, eyes of the bat and owl I used 3D Glossy Accent from Ranger.

De tekst-stempel is van Tim Holtz.

The text tag is a stamp from Tim Holtz.

Hier kun je nog even de binnenkant van de kaart zien. Voor de cirkels heb ik Nestabilities gebruikt.

Here you see the inside of the card. For the circles I used Nestabilities.

De blaadjes en takjes zijn gemaakt met een Sizzix stans van Tim Holtz. Ook hier heb ik weer 3D Glossy Accent gebruikt om alles vast te plakken op de bodem. Ik heb ze ook allemaal even gesponst met Distress inkt-Vintage Photo van Tim Holtz om ze een wat natuurlijker uiterlijk te geven.

The leaves are made with a Sizzix die from Tim Holtz. I also used 3D Glossy accent to stick it all on the bottom. To give them a more natural look I sponged the leaves with Distress Ink-Vintage Photo from Tim Holtz.

De grote slak heb ik op de helft van een omgevouwen blaadje geplakt, zodat je hem naar achter om kunt vouwen als je de kaart in een enveloppe wilt versturen.

The big snail I stuck on the half of a small leaf, so you can fold him back if you want to send the card in an envelope.

Hier kun je de zilveren draad met de uil beter zien.

Ook beide kale takken heb ik op de zwakste plekken even bewerkt met 3D Glossy Accent. Is niet echt noodzakelijk, maar dat ben ik weer...ben toch bezig....!

De tak is uit de collectie "Shabby Chic Summer 2008".

Here you can see the silver thread with the owl much better.

All the bare branches, I reinforced the weaknesses points with some 3D Glossy Accent at the backside. It's not really necessary, but......that's me!

The branch is from the collection "Shabby Chic Summer 2008".

De maan met de tak en het uiltje komen uit de Magnolia Collectie "So Spooky 2009".

The moon with branch and the owl are both a stamp from Magnolia's Collection "So Spooky 2009".

Je kunt de kaart voorzichtig vouwen. Let wel even op de grote slak en de blaadjes!

Deze eerst even plat leggen.

You can fold the card gently. Be careful with the big snail and leaves!

Voor het plat leggen van het hekje moet er even één splitpennetje losgemaakt worden en even vastgezet in het hekje. Zo kun je hem gemakkelijk verzenden. De ontvanger kan het dan even opnieuw vastmaken......

To flatten the card you have to remove one splitpin, put it back in the fence, so the receiver can put it back where it belongs. You can send it now in an envelope.

Zo gemakkelijk gaat het dus met toch een mooi resultaat al zeg ik het zelf.

So easy it is with a nice result.

Ik hoop dat jullie het weer leuk vinden. Ik vond het in ieder geval erg leuk weer om te maken.

Hier ben ik weer. Nu met......sorry hoor......al weer een kaart met een klein lichtje. Ook deze keer met iets extra's.......een klein doosje met een lichtje of  voor iets anders om er in te stoppen. Wat je maar wilt. Leuk voor de komende dagen voor kerst of een verjaardag.......van alles is mogelijk.

Here I am again. Now with........sorry.........I can't help, but with another card with a little light in it. Also this time some extra........a little box with a light or for putting in something else you like. Nice for the coming days for Christmas or for a birthday.......everything is possible.

Hier zie je Tilda en Edwin, beiden uit de Magnolia Graduation Collection 2009.

Achter Edwin in het doosje zie je, als je goed kijkt, een klein lichtje branden.

Behind Edwin in the little box you see burning a little light.

Iets lekkers in het doosje om te smullen of van te drinken is natuurlijk ook mogelijk!

A little "Yummy for your Tummy" in it is also possible!

Ik heb Edwin met donkere blauw/groene Copics gekleurd,

I coloured Edwin in dark blue/green Copics,

en Tilda met lichte blauw/groene. De strass-steentjes zijn donker blauw/groen.

and Tilda in light blue/greens. The little rhinestones are dark blue/green.

In het midden van het "oog" heb ik een half rond doorzichtig bolletje gebruikt.

In the middle of the "Eye" I used a little half glass ball. I don't know what it is usually called in english.

Ook heb ik er één op het dekseltje geplakt.

Also one on the top of the box.

En natuurlijk...........heb ik weer een klein lichtje gemaakt met hetzelfde scrappapier als op de kaart en er een lintje omheen gedaan.

And of course...again I made a little light with the same paper as on the card with a little piece of ribbon.

Voor het papier aan de buitenkant van het doosje heb ik een pons gebruikt van Martha Stewart,

For the outside paper of the little box I used a punch of Martha Stewart,

wat ik weer op een stuk transparante sheet heb geplakt (gerecycled uit een Nestability verpakking).

Alle cirkels zijn gemaakt met Nestabilities. Voor de bodem heb ik voor de stevigheid meerdere maten in cirkels gebruikt. Voor het plakken van de sheet enz. 3D Glossy Accent van Ranger. Dit droogt erg snel.

All circles are made with Nestabilities.

The bottom has several circles for the strength. I also used 3D Glossy Accent from Ranger to put all together. It dries very quick.

Hier zie je de heldere "pupil" van het oog.

Here you can see the clear "pupil" of the eye.

Hier zie je Tilda met schoenen en pet in taupe-kleur (Copics E77-E71).

Here you see Tilda with shoes and cap with taupe colour (Copics E77-E71).

De kleuren lijken een beetje op paars/lila, maar ze zijn het niet.....ze zijn grijs/bruin of taupekleurig met gebroken wit/creme papier.

The colours like a litlle bit on purple/lilac but they are not......they are grey/brown or taupe with off-white/creme papers.

Tilda's jurk is gekleurd met BG15-BG23-BG10.

Tilda's dress is coloured with BG15-BG23-BG10.

De mooi cherry blossoms zijn van Magnolia, de roosjes van Reddy.

The beautiful cherry blossoms are from Magnolia, the little roses from Reddy.

De rozenblaadjes zijn gemaakt met een Doohickey van Magnolia.

The rose-leaves are made with a Doohickey die from Magnolia.

Het scrappapier is van Cosmo Cricket-Mitten Weather en heb ik gekozen voor de coffee-cream challenge en de blauw/groen/clear challenge.

The scrappaper is from Cosmo Cricket-Mitten Weather. I choose these papers for the coffee-cream challenge and the blue/green/clear challenge.

Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden en wat inspiratie hiervan krijgen.
