Zelfs één bloempje kan je troost bieden in moeilijke tijden als je de schoonheid daarvan in ziet. Tilda biedt je deze bloem aan. Zij is de engel in het verhaal.

Met deze kaart doe ik mee aan de challenge 118 bij Just Magnolia. Alles mag, als er maar glitter aan te pas komt.

Alles is ingekleurd met Copics. Tilda komt uit de collectie: "Spring & Summer 2008" , de tekst-stempel is van Hero Arts. Ook  heb ik  stansen gebruikt van Magnolia (bloemen,  libelle en hekje), Sizzix (bladertakjes), Marianne Design (swirl) en Spellbinders. Daarnaast voor de hartjesrand een Martha Stewart pons.

Het mooie papier is van de Action en zit vol met glitters, maar dit is niet zo goed te zien.

Also a punch from Martha Stewart for the heartborder. The paper is from Action and has much glitter, but you can't see this so well.

De uitdaging is maskeren met meerdere stempels.

The challenge is masking with some stamps.

Het was erg leuk om deze kaart te maken, al had ik wat pech met het doorlopen van de stempelafdruk o.a. in de hals. Het is beter om de afdrukken wat langer te laten drogen, dan is dit te voorkomen.

Maar goed...ik laat het deze keer maar zo.

It was fun to make this card, but the black stampink did blend a little with the Copics. I had to wait untill the ink had dried better. But yes......of course I could not wait and now I let it all for what it is.

De stempels en het papier zijn van Magnolia uit de laatste collectie "The Winner Takes It All".

The stamps and paper are from Magnolia from the last collection "The Winner Takes It All".

Alles is ingekleurd met Copics, wat chalks en afgewerkt met distress inkt Vintage Photo.

Everything is coloured with Copics, some chalk and finished with distress ink Vintage Photo.

Op het brilletje heb ik 3d-lak gedaan, zodat het op echte brillenglaasjes lijkt.

On the little glasses I put some 3D Glossy from Ranger.

De ponsrand is gemaakt met een Martha Stewart pons-set.

The punches are from Martha Stewart.

De bloem hoort eigenlijk in een waterschaal te liggen, maar ik vond hem erg goed op deze kaart passen.

The flower is normally used in a water-bowl, but I liked him on the card.

Verder nog een paar rode dew-drops op de hoeken om het af te maken.

I put some dew-drops on the corners to finish it.

Tilda in Japan.............

Dit keer een Oosters kaartje van mij.

Hello everyone,

This time an oriëntal card from me.

Tilda heb ik gekleurd met Copics. Haar kimono versierd met rode mini strass-steentjes.

Tilda is coloured with Copics. Her kimono is decorated with mini red rhinestones.

De witte cirkel is gemaakt uit twee maal een halve Doohickey-cirkelstans. Deze heb ik aan elkaar gezet met 2 goudkleurige splitpennetjes, waarmee ook tegelijkertijd het kant en het band is vastgezet. Het kant zit ook nog vast met dubbelzijdige smalle tape.

The white circle is made up of two times punched semi-circle Doohickeys. I put these together with two goldcoloured mini split pins, which also simultaneously put down the lace. The lace is also fixed with adhesive tape.

Daarop een halve rode cirkel van cardstock en een halve cirkel gemaakt met de vintageplate stempel uit de Yummie for Your Tummy serie 2009. Het gouden sierband was volgens mijn een kerstslinger.

Then a semi-circle of red cardstock and a half circle made with the vintage-plate stamp of The Yummy For Your Tummy Collection 2009.

Verder  twee buxusplanten uit de Summer & Sea collectie 2008 toegevoegd om zo een soort omgeving te schetsen. Met een beetje fantasie is de rode halve cirkel een soort tapijt en de andere helft een muurschildering. De rode strass en de goudkleurige Stickles geven wat meer accent aan het Japanse sfeertje op de kaart.

Furthermore two plants from the Summer & Sea Collection 2008 to create a kind of environment. With a little imagination becomes the red semi-circle a red carpet. The red rhinestones and the golden Stickles are giving more accent to the Japanese atmosphere.

Alles is bevestigd op een zwarte cirkel die ik iets groter uitgeknipt heb dan de witte cirkel.

Everything is mounted on a black circle of black cardstock that I have cut slightly larger than the white Doohickey circle.

Achter de kaart heb ik een kleine easel bevestigd. Deze heb ik gestanst met de little easel-stans van Tim Holtz.

Behind the card I have attached a small easel. I punched it with the little easelpunch of Tim Holtz.

De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met de stencil ES003 van Nellie Snellen en geborduurd met Mettler-garen nr. 9974.

De hoekpons is een oudje van EK.

The cornerpunch is an old one and from EK.

De bladertakken zijn met een Sizzix-stansje gemaakt.

I used some salmon lace, orange bar beads, rhinestones and yellow stickles.

Voor Tilda's tasje, de lieve heerbeestjes en op de bloemenhartjes heb ik Glossy 3D lak van Ranger gebruikt.

For Tilda’s bag, the little ladybugs and on the hearts of the flowers I have used Glossy Accents from Ranger.

Het papier is een mix van Papycolor, Basic Grey en scrappapier van de Action.

Ik hoop dat dit kaartje enige inspiratie voor anderen mag geven.

Tilda’s conversation with a butterfly......

Vandaag een vrolijk kaartje waarbij Tilda aan het pootje baden is en gezelschap heeft van een vlindertje dat even nieuwsgierig komt kijken.

De meeste stempeltjes o.a. Tilda, de zwemband, bloemen, swirl, bubbels en tekst komen uit de Magnolia-collectie Lazy Summer van 2009,

De vogeltjesstempel uit Spring & Summer 2008

Het zonnetje komt uit Stampclub 2007.

Het vlindertje uit Chasing Butterflies 2009.

De colibri komt uit de Pets & Animals 2009 collection.

Het groene blad komt uit een stansje van Marianne Design.

De pons is van Fiskars.

Het papier is van een bekend merk, maar ik weet even niet meer van welk.

Verder is alles ingekleurd met Copics en wat blauwe chalk op de achtergrond.

Nog wat lint en strass voor de afwerking maakt de kaart helemaal af.

Shabby Chic Tilda is waiting......

Zo.....Weer even aan het puzzelen geweest met stempels en papier enz. De kaart is gemakkelijk en redelijk snel te maken. (Als je hem namaakt....ja...ja...! Dat mag van mij hoor! Maar weet je....je eigen creatie heeft veel meer power, omdat hij van jou is!!!!) Toch verbaasd het me telkens weer hoeveel tijd er gaat zitten in het bij elkaar krijgen van alle materialen en de juiste kleuren. Er is zo veel mogelijk, maar dat maakt deze hobby juist zo leuk.

So.....After many time I had all the pieces together. This card is easy to make (If you make a copy....yes...yes...! That is fine, no problem with this one! But you know...your own creation is more powerfull, because its yours!!!!), but I am always ashtonished how many time it takes to make the right choices. There are many possibilities, but that's why this hobby makes it so nice.

Shabby Chic Tilda is ingekleurd met Copics en komt uit de Magnolia Shabby Chic Summer Collection van 2008. Zo ook haar tasje.

De tekst is uit de Chasing Butterfly Collection 2009.

Met wat Distress inkt Vintage Photo heb ik de randjes hier en daar wat gekleurd en ook heb ik wat glitterlijm gebruikt.
