Kiss me I'm a prince............

Hello everybody,

Na wat gepuzzel ben ik tot deze kaart gekomen. Voor de uitdaging van Totally Tilda #29 wordt gevraagd om een kaart met een Tilda stempel, een kroon of de tekst prinses moet op de kaart voorkomen.

After some puzzling I came to this card. For the challenge of Totally Tilda #29 the challenge is to make a card with a Tilda Stamp, a crown stamp or the name princess on the card.

Mijn eerste gedachte was een kaart te maken met deze prinses-Tilda en de grote kroon met bloempjes en groen uit de Weddingcollectie 2010.

My first thought was to make a card with this Princess-Tilda and the big crown with little flowers and leaves from the Weddingcollection 2010.

Voor de achtergrond heb ik CD's gebruikt, die ik al lange tijd bewaard heb. De kinderen vragen me altijd voor ze iets weggooien of ik dingen kan gebruiken voor het maken van mijn kaarten. Vaak mislukte het branden van cd's en dvd's, dus ik vond er regelmatig een op mijn hobbytafel voor een tweede leven.

For the backgrounds I used CD's which I had stored for a long time. The kids always ask me if I can use things for my cardmaking before they throw it away. Many times the burning of cd's went wrong, so often I found one on my hobby-disk for a second life.

Terwijl ik de kaart aan het maken was besloot ik de gras-Doohickey van Magnolia te gebruiken om ongeveer 5 lagen gras op elkaar te maken. Ik plaatste wat bloemen ertussen en plakte over het geheel een halve cirkel. Tilda op de kroon kreeg een plekje in het midden.

While making the card I used the grass Doohicky from Magnolia several times for about 5 layers. I put some flowers between the grass, a 1/2 circle under/over the grass and Tilda on the crown in the front of all.

De tekst "Little Princess" is een clearstamp van Kaisercraft, die ik op een Nestability-label bevestigd heb.

The text "Little Princess" is a clearstamp from Kaisercraft and I used a Nestability.

Op Tilda's kroon, bloemen enz. heb ik Stickles-Diamant gebruikt.

On Tilda's crown, flowers etc. I used Stickles Diamond.

Het papier is donkergroen, maar lijkt hier wel blauwachtig groen. Het is lastig te fotograferen om de juiste kleuren te krijgen.

      The paper is dark green but looks a little blue green. It is not easy te get the right colours with my photo-camera.

Om Tilda op de kroon te zetten heb ik de maskeertechniek gebruikt.

De kroon heb ik uitgeknipt met een schaartje en de tussenstukjes voorzichtig met een mesje uitgesneden.

To put Tilda on the crown I used the masking technic. I carefully cut out the crown with scissors and a knife.

Op het andere deel vande kaart heb ik onder een strook papier een cd gestoken en er wat Dew Drops opgeplakt.

On the other part of the card I put a cd under a stroke of paper and used Dew Drops.

In plaats daarvan kun je er ook wat geld onder stoppen of een cd met foto's of muziek als kadootje voor b.v. een verjaardag. Ook kan er wat tekst bovenop geschreven worden.

At this place you can also place some money or a cd with photo's or music as a gift for a birthday and some personal written text.

Ik heb ook nog een cd gemaakt met waterlelies, een kikkerprins voor Tilda en een strookje met tekst voor het waxinelichtje.

I also made a cd with waterlilies, the frog-prince for Tilda and a strip of paper with text for putting around a party light.

Ik heb 4 waterlelies gemaakt/ingekleurd met bloemen en 7 zonder bloem.
De bloemen heb ik naar voren gevouwen om ze rechtop te laten staan.

I made 4x water lilies with flowers and from 7 only the leaves.
The flowers I folded to the front.

Op de bloemen heb ik dauwdrupples gemaakt met 3D Glossy Accent van Ranger.

On the leaves I made dewdrops with Glossy 3D Accent from Ranger.

Terwijl ik de kaart aan het maken was heb ik ervoor gekozen alleen de bloemen en de bladeren vast te plakken op de cd, zodat de kikkerprins overal geplaats kan worden waar je maar leuk vind. Het waxinelichtje of de kikkerprins kan in het midden komen te staan of ergens anders. Je kunt er nu een beetje mee spelen. Lijkt me leuk voor de verjaardag van een meisje of om iemand een "opkikkertje" te sturen. (De teksten en de Tilda kunnen natuurlijk altijd aangepast nog worden).


While making this I choose only to paste the flowers in the middle on the cd and the frog prins can put everywhere you like while using a tea light on batterie.

You can put the frog in the middle of "the pond" on the flowers or the tealight in the middle. You can play with it. Nice for a little girls birthday I think or for someone to cheer up. (When you change the texts and the Tilda, everything is possible).

Aan de achterkant heb ik een strookje papier gevouwen en vastgeplakt. Hiermee kan de kikker staan of op/tussen het waxinelichtje en de tekststrook geschoven worden.

The "Prince" can sit down everywhere or put on the tealight.

The 3 little flowers is one stamp from the Chasing Butterfly collection 2009.

The crown from the Weddingcollection 2010.

The frog prince from the Collection Jubileum 070707.

Ik heb alles weer gekleurd met Copics en gedistressed met Distress-inkt Vintage Photo.

I coloured everything with Copics and distressed the paper with Distress-ink Vintage Photo.

Het scrappapier is van Marianne Design.

Ik hoop weer wat mensen te kunnen inspireren met deze kaart. Ik vond het in ieder geval leuk om hem te maken.
