Hello everybody,

Deze keer kom ik met een kaart, die op een speciale manier is gevouwen. De naam voor deze kaart is "spring-kaart".

Jaren geleden had ik al eens een mal hiervoor gekocht, maar nog nooit gebruikt. Komt nu dus goed van pas bij de volgende challenges:

This time I have a card with special foldings. The name of it is "spring-card".

Ook zet ik deze kaart op de site van Katie Tate, Both Sides of the Paper. Ook zij heeft een prachtige "springkaart" gemaakt. Je mag daar elke dag al je Magnolia kaarten plaatsen die je deze week maakt.

Hier zie je dat ik een labeltje achter de kaart gestopt heb.

Here you see that I have put a little label behind the card.

Als je op de kaart duwt "springt" hij vanzelf weer naar boven.

If you give the card a little push, he "jumps" back immediately.

Tilda met de grote bos rozen is ingekleurd met Copics en komt uit de Magnolia Collectie "Chasing Butterflies 2009".

Het tekststempeltje is van de Action, evenals het scrappapier.

Verder heb ik gebruikt:

 Stickles, rode strass-steentjes, zwart lintje, een bedel met de tekst "Made with Love" en de kleuren blauw en groen van de chalks.

I also used:

De label met Tilda is een Nestability.

Ik heb even snel wat gras toegevoegd. Veel te snel gedaan. Kon zeker wat mooier!

To quick I added the grass and flowers. Could be better!

Ik ben helemaal weg van deze prachtige bos rozen. Ook zo leuk om in te kleuren. Alle kleuren zijn mogelijk.

I love these bunch of roses. So nice colouring and all colours are possible.

De hoekjes zijn gemaakt met een stansje van Nellie Snellen.

The corners are made with a little die from Nellie Snellen.

De tekstlabel is een stansje van Marianne Design.

The textlabel is a die from Marianne Design.

De kaart heb ik aan de achterkant in de punt vastgezet met een splitpen.

At the backside of the the card I used a brad near the mid point.

De hele kaart is 15 x 30 cm.

The whole card is 15 x 30 cm.

Dit wordt dus de onderkant van de kaart.

This becomes the bottom of the card.

Dit is de achterkant en kun je goed de vouwen zien.

This is the backside and now you can see the foldings better.

Met deze mal heb ik de kaart gemaakt.

Het midden van de punt is het midden van de kaart.

With this template I made the card.

The mid point is the center.

Eventueel kun je met het bijbehorende malletje nog allerlei technieken toevoegen op het papier....van embossing tot borduren en 3D knipwerk.

An option is to use the little metal template with different techniques, which belongs to the card-template. Such as embossing, embroidery or 3D technique.

Je kunt de Scor Pal gebruiken om de vouwen te embossen, aangezien de embossing-lichtbak niet werkt bij donker papier. Je kunt dan direct de lijnen helemaal doortrekken.

You can use the Scor Pal to make the folds, because the embossing light-box does not work with dark papers. You can immediately draw trought the lines all the way.

Zo....dit was het weer voor vandaag. Het is meer werk om dit alles op het blog te zetten en te vertalen, dan het maken van de kaart zelf. Maar ik hoop anderen er een plezier mee te doen.

So that's all for today. It's more work to place this all on my blog and to translate it all, than making the card itself. But I hope it's a pleasure to others.

Ik hoop dat jullie de kaart een leuk idee vinden. Het was in ieder geval leuk om te maken en het ging eens een keer vrij snel.
